It is making smoke especialy for the airshow. With the smoke behind the show looks more dynamic.

My comment was to me remembering in one tabletop rpg campaign the GM had us salvaging/scavenging from an old Russian airfield and player Mariska, characters name, was looking over an old crashed Hind when one of her wrenches flew loose hitting a nearby drum of unknown gas which leaked across the nearby field... luckily her PC was paranoid and always wore a gas mask when outside but the two local NPC hirelings died...

Looks like the Hind E. If I recall, it's the last Hind model before the fall of the Soviet Union.

Yes it is Hind E - Czech Air Force. They are going to sell them and buy sth. smaller but more multipurpose. Some of them may be sold to Irak.
